Nominees sought for human resource awards

The Ventura County Affiliate of the National Human Resource Association is kicking off its third annual Human Resources Executive of the Year Award Program.

The award program will be in conjunction with their May 22 luncheon meeting at the Clarion Palm Garden Hotel in Thousand Oaks.

This award honors human resources professionals who have made a significant contribution to both their own organization and to the profession.

The recipient of this award does not have to be a member of the Ventura County affiliate, but they do have to be a contributor in the field of human resources.

To be eligible for this award the recipient must be actively employed at the manager level or higher; been innovative in addressing an important business issue or challenge; enhanced organization effectiveness, performance or cost management; significantly contributed to HR through teaching, research or community service; and demonstrated vision, strong communication skills, creativity and high ethical standards.
