‘A Taste of Passover’ workshop coming to Temple Adat Elohim
      Rabbi Rebecca Dubowe will lead a workshop, "A Taste of Passover," from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Sun., March 24 in the Social Hall at Temple Adat Elohim, 2420 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks. The class introduces the meanings, traditions and origins of Passover. There is no cost to attend, and the program is open to all.

Passover represents freedom from bondage, service to God

      The Jewish festival of Passover comes each spring with its message of freedom. Jews recount their long slavery to Pharaoh in Egypt. The introductory chapters of the Book of Exodus tell of the oppressive measures that Pharaoh imposed upon the ancient Hebrews.
