Sheriff’s blotter Agoura Hills

Four juveniles in a blue Mustang began yelling at a teenage male and his mother as they drove westbound on the 101 Freeway the afternoon of March 3. The subjects followed the mother and son to a parking lot in the 5600 block of Kanan Road with a silver Honda Civic and a gray Mercedes also following. The woman then drove to another parking area in the 5100 block of Kanan Road and was attempting to back up when a male exited the Mustang and hit her vehicle door with a baseball bat. The bat, left at the scene, was taken into evidence and damage to the victim’s car door was $350.

A camper shell valued at $5,000 was crushed (possibly by a large vehicle) at a storage facility in the 29000 block of Agoura Road the night of Feb. 23.

Valuables worth $3,425 were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Feb. 6 or 7 in the 5100 block of Clareton Drive. Jewelry and camera equipment were among the loot.

A pickup’s windshield had $300 damage after vandalism between midnight and 8 a.m. March 3 on Cedarhaven Drive.

On Bridle Glen Street between 10 a.m. and noon March 2, a car’s windshield was shattered ($300 loss).

The night of March 3, two bicycles were stolen from a Thousand Oaks Boulevard porch area (a loss of $150).

Calabasas

Someone tried to break into a Las Virgenes Road apartment between 3 and 8 a.m. Feb. 25. A door was damaged.

A black leather CD case and 25 compact discs were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a Las Virgenes Road parking area between 1:30 and 9 a.m. Feb. 23. The loss was $365.

An unlocked vehicle in the 4000 block of Las Virgenes Road provided easy access for a burglar who stole a purse between 10:30 and 10:45 a.m. March 1. The loss was $55.

Oak Park

Sometime before 11 p.m. March 4, a motor home in the 5700 block of Freebird Lane was broken into and a laptop computer, a camcorder, a wetsuit, a pair of tennis shoes, credit cards and a cell phone were stolen. The loss was $3,924.

Vandalism occurred sometime before 3:30 p.m. March 7 on Deerhill Road between Doubletree and Poppyview. Unknown suspect(s) broke the back windshield of a vehicle with a golf ball ($500 damage).

On Deerhill Road between Poppyview and Kanan, vandal(s) smashed a vehicle’s rear windshield sometime before 6:30 p.m. March 7. The damage was estimated at $500.

Westlake/T.O.

Unknown suspect(s) entered an office by an unknown means and stole a computer valued at $1,540. The theft occurred sometime before 2:45 p.m. March 2 in the 2600 block of Townsgate Road.

At 8 p.m. March 7 in the 200 block of N. Westlake Boulevard, $8,100 damage occurred when burglar(s) broke into a business and stole three laptop computers at $2,700 each.

A credit card was stolen and fraudulently used at 1 p.m. Sat., Feb. 23 in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard. A $640 loss occurred. A wallet and other credit cards were also missing.

Westlake Village

The loss was $16,000 after four laptop computers were stolen from a business in the 31300 block of Oak Crest Drive. The forced entry occurred at 6:33 a.m. on March 2 and a screwdriver was taken as evidence.

A porcelain vase valued at $300 was stolen from a business office on Lindero Canyon Road between 11:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Feb. 27.
