For the record
      A typographical error significantly changed the meaning of a sentence in a letter last week. The letter, which criticized some opponents of Ahmanson Ranch, should have said, "Have these folks realized the objections to Ahmanson Ranch could just as easily have been raised 30 years ago against Oak Park, which is now the jewel of Las Virgenes?" (The typo said not instead of now).
