Stage Door presents ‘The Lion in Winter’

Carnival is Sunday
      Temple Beth Haverim of Agoura Hills will host its annual Purim Carnival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sun., March 3 at Red Oak Elementary School, 4857 Rockfield, Oak Park. Activities will include rock climbing, rides, games, arts and crafts plus music and dancing by "You Should Be Dancing."

Magic show to benefit worthy causes
     'I CAN'T BELIEVE MY EYES'-Julia Reay, 1995 Miss Westlake/Agoura, and Francois Rene Lussier, (holding rabbit), help magician Christopher DePalma perform magic on the front lawn of the Civic Arts Plaza. Lussier and DePalma Productions will team up at 7:30 p.m. March 2 in the Civic Arts Plaza Forum Theatre to produce a magic show to benefit local charities. For details, please call (805) 496-4839. Country Folk art, craft show coming soon to Ventura fairgrounds
      The Country Folk Art & Craft Show will be staged March 8 to 10 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, Seaside Park, in the city of Ventura. Hours are 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
