Measure H would make bad law

Measure H is a bad law. It prevents most major retailers from even considering Agoura Hills as a possible future location.

Agoura Hills isn’t a major market alone but is the crossroads center of a five-mile market that major retail developments look at.

We are attractive to future retail developments that will help pay the city’s bills and keep away city taxes. We still enjoy no utility tax in Agoura Hills.

If you don’t like the plans for Home Depot in Agoura Hills, write the city council and tell them to keep the store out or, better yet, show up at a council meeting and speak up.

But don’t cut the city out of the opportunity to have a desirable major retailer in our business community. Vote no on Measure H.
