Small Business Fair is tomorrow in Culver City

The State Board of Equalization will team up with several agencies from federal, state and local governments to present a free Small Business Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fri., Feb. 22 at West Los Angeles College, 4800 Freshman Drive, Culver City.

There will be an opening session followed by workshops tailored to suit the needs of the small business owner. The fair is designed to be a one-stop source of business and tax information for small business owners.

Topics to be covered include: preparing a sales and use tax return/exemptions; small business loans; record-keeping; home-based businesses; export services; and bad check restitution program.
