CELEBRATING THEIR 50TH—Milt and Sylvia Rubin of Calabasas are enjoying their wedding anniversary by visiting Turkey, Egypt and Greece. This picture was taken in December 2000 in front of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey. The Rubins were married Nov. 11, 1950 in Brooklyn, N.Y., and have been Californians since 1956. They enjoyed a surprise anniversary party with family and friends, and then they took a 15-day Mediterranean cruise. And thank you very much, Milt and Sylvia, for taking The Acorn along.
