Thank you, media The Westlake Yacht Club has finished a most successful 2001 sailing season and is about to begin the 2002 season. We sailed 19 regattas during the season, had three community events including the Fourth of July and the Parade of Lights, raised $19,000 on our Charity Sail-A-Thon, and sponsored the Agoura High School sailing team in Pacific Interscholastic sailing competition. We owe much of the year’s success to the exposure of the media to these events.
