      Concerning Measure H, in their zeal to drive out competition, the businesses backing Measure H will also drive out desirable retail stores such as Nordstrom, Sports Chalet, Circuit City, or other revenue producing stores that happen to exceed the "box" into which this initiative paints our city.

Doesn’t blame residents for fighting new homes
      After reading the article in the Jan. 24 issue of The Acorn, we feel obligated to relate our experience with Vintage Homes. Vintage is developing homes in the Sycamore Canyon area of Westlake Village, which happens to abut our home in the Three Springs development.

Let’s lobby our new congressman about the 101-Kanan mess
      Fixing the 101-Kanan interchange should be a top priority for the residents of the entire region. The 101-Kanan interchange not only affects Agoura Hills, but also the entire Las Virgenes and Conejo Valley area. The interchange improvement plan could end up costing anywhere from $20-$27 million, with city of Agoura Hills footing most of the bill.
