Activities set for UMC

Pastor Rob Calderhead continues a series of messages titled "Joy for Dummies—Don’t Worry, Be Happy!" at the 9 and 10:30 a.m. worship services on Sun., Feb. 3 at United Methodist Church (UMC) of Westlake Village, 1049 Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village. Associate pastor Stephen Hansted Meadors will speak at the casual 8 a.m. service.

Communion will be served and special music is included in each service. The Footprints youth choir will sing at 9 and 10:30 a.m. The Chancel Choir also will sing at 10:30 a.m. Sunday School classes for all ages meet at 9 a.m. and childcare is provided at all services.

At 6:30 p.m. on Sat., Feb. 2 in the sanctuary, Through HIS Hands Puppet Ministry will present "Puppethon 2001 Encore!" featuring their "Best of the Best of Broadway Revue" numbers. The performance is appropriate for all ages and there’s no charge.
