Calabasas Library Friends elect this year’s board of directors

The Friends of the Calabasas Library have elected their new board of directors for 2002: Elizabeth Parang is chairperson; Karyn Foley, vice chair and public relations; Sue Carpetner, secretary; Barbara Wallace, treasurer; Juanita Woolard, Ellen Pangarliotas, Barbara Seery, communications; Jean August, historian; Seery and Mario Prado, membership; and Pangarliotis is also parliamentarian.

The Friends meets at 7:30 p.m. the first Tuesday of every month at the library. Presently, their primary project is the library’s forthcoming move to its new location adjacent The Commons.

The group also sponsors a monthly book club that meets at 10 a.m. on the third Wednesday of every month at the library.
