The Oak Park High School Athletic Booster Club will host its third annual Hall of Fame Dinner on Sat., Feb. 2 at Sunset Hills Country Club in Thousand Oaks.

The inductees this year are longtime Eagle coaches and teachers Fred Yamano and Mark Jacobs. Yamano is a former athletic director.

Both Yamano and Jacobs have been with Oak Park Unified School District for more than 20 years.

The Hall of Fame was established to recognize athletes and coaches for outstanding achievement or contribution to the field of athletics at Oak Park High School.

"Since the beginning, Yamano and Jacobs have defined Oak Park pride and established Eagle traditions that continue to this day," said Argyle Nelson, the booster club president.

"Just as important, they have been excellent role models for the student athletes who have come through the Eagle program."
