Temple Adat Elohim to serve dinner on Christmas Day at T.O. High School Temple Adat Elohim to serve dinner on Christmas Day at T.O. High School Seniors, singles, couples and families are invited to the eighth annual Free Conejo Community Holiday Dinner from noon to 4 p.m. on Christmas Day, Tues., Dec. 25 at Thousand Oaks High School. The festive meal features turkey with all the trimmings. This is the first year the dinner has been sponsored and organized by the Social Action Committee of Temple Adat Elohim, Thousand Oaks. In past years the Delson family, congregants of Temple Adat Elohim had organized this community event. Some 400-500 residents of the greater Conejo Valley have attended past dinners each year. Free transportation is also available to and from the dinner, courtesy of Thousand Oaks Cab Company and Laidlaw Bus Company. Students from the Conejo Valley Unified Schools will make some of the holiday decorations. More than 150 adult and student volunteers work together to prepare and host the holiday meal.
