Mobile Jewish Information Center to tour

Chabad of the Conejo will sponsor a Mobile Jewish Information Center that will visit shopping centers throughout the Conejo Valley on Fri., Nov. 2 and Sun., Nov. 4. A mobile home will be converted into a Jewish resource center, providing residents with information and guidance on any Jewish custom, tradition and Mitzvah.

The program coincides with "Mitzvah Day," a day dedicated by the Jewish Federation to reaching out and performing acts of goodness and kindness as well as Judaic ritual performance.

"This year, more than ever before, people are searching for purpose and a religious foundation upon which to build their lives," said Rabbi Yisroel Levine of Chabad. "It is our aim to make their search as easy as possible by providing the information they need in the most convenient of venues."

In addition, Chabad will sponsor a Jewish information booth at the Kosher Connection Market in Agoura Hills (Canwood and Reyes Adobe) every Friday afternoon.

For more information about Chabad or its Mitzvah Awareness Project, please call Rabbi Levine at (818) 991-0991.
