Wachs, Corridori, Reinhardt will get his vote

Wachs, Corridori, Reinhardt will get his vote

As a 26-year resident of Agoura Hills, I have seen many changes. In 1985, a new city council was elected which was led by Fran Pavley and dedicated to slow, careful growth.

For 15 years subsequent councils have done a magnificent job of keeping those that have personal business interests counter to the residents’ interests from gaining control of the city, which has not been an easy task.

The council fought a nasty recall, prevented Thousand Oaks Boulevard from coming through the city from the valley, and worked to remove pole signs in order to beautify the city.

Because of this city council, our city has remained safe from over-development. Now this same group who has relentlessly fought our city council is running its own slate of councilmembers, using the smoke screen of anti-Home Depot.

They have even held rallies at the Do-It Center. Does this sound self-serving? Vote for Wachs, Reinhardt and Corridori Nov. 6 to keep our city on the right track.
