      The city of Agoura Hills will host the third annual NFL Gatorade Punt, Pass & Kick competition from 1 to 4 p.m., Sat., Sept. 22 at Chumash Park, on Medea Valley Drive across the street from the Agoura High School football stadium.

Oak Park wins football opener
      The Oak Park football team won its opening game vs. Kern Valley last Saturday night, 34-6, behind the stellar performance of senior Monte McNair who returned a punt for a 65-yard touchdown, caught a pass for a 10-yard TD from quarterback Brendon Anderson (2 for 6 passing for 27 yards) and kicked four extra points.

      The Oaks Christian football team battled back from a 8-0 deficit and defeated Rosamond, 23-8, last Friday in the home opener for the Lions at Thorson Stadium in Westlake Village.

Agoura football team defeats rival Calabasas, 31-7, in opener for both squads

      The Agoura football team fought off a sluggish start, scored on two successive possessions in the second quarter to build a 14-0 lead against Calabasas, then utilized a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to start the second half in defeating the Coyotes 31-7 in the season opener for both teams.
