Church announces blood drive

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Oak Park, and the American Red Cross are teaming up to sponsor a blood drive from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thurs., Aug. 23 in the cultural hall of the church, 6100 Doubletree, Oak Park.

Blood supplies have been at critically low levels this summer.
