SOLEMN MOMENT––Kylene Barut ponders the memory of her mother, Margie Barut, who passed away recently at age 41. The Westlake Village First Neighborhood Association dedicated a bench, above, and a plaque, left, in Barut’s honor. Barut coached her daughter in soccer and was an active member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church and White Oak Elementary School in Westlake Village. She’s survived by her daughter and two sons.
