Forum presents political pundits

Peggy Noonan and Martin Anderson will discuss the critical importance of the events that occurred in August 1976 during a Reagan Forum presentation from 5 to 6 p.m. on Wed., Aug. 22 in Allbritton Hall Auditorium at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley.

Their discussion, titled "A Revolution Revealed: The 1976 Reagan Presidential Bid," examines how this campaign became a model for future political bids and will include footage from the campaign and Reagan’s farewell speech, following his failed bid for the nomination.

Noonan served as a special assistant and speechwriter to President Reagan, and Anderson served as senior policy advisor for Reagan’s 1976 and 1980 presidential campaigns.

A buffet dinner in the courtyard will follow the lecture.

Tickets are $50. For reservations, please call (805) 522-2977.
