Squirrels of the Month

TWICE AS NICE––Juliana and Michael Moritz play with a pair of squirrels their dad rescued from the family’s backyard in Thousand Oaks. The squirrels had been abandoned, but the Moritz family nursed them back to life with milk from a dropper and nuts and seeds for food. After they became healthy, the squirrels were set free, but kept returning! They even entered the house looking for goodies, but they never bit the hand that fed them.
