Top-ranked Lions win two softball playoff games

      The Oaks Christian High School softball team continued its impressive first-season march with wins in the first two rounds of the Southern Section playoffs. Competing in Division VI, the Lions first defeated La Verne 8-1 at home last Friday, and Tuesday they beat Oxford Academy, 3-0 as Ashlee Freeman pitched a perfect game and sophomore Katie Lorier was 3 for 3 with two doubles and two runs scored.
