Volunteers needed as counselors for camp

The Southern California Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation is looking for energetic and enthusiastic volunteers to serve as camp counselors at their juvenile arthritis camp this summer. They are especially in need of male counselors.

Camp Esperanza is an overnight camp for kids 8 to 17 with juvenile arthritis and related diseases. It provides an opportunity for the children to enjoy all the wonders of a traditional camp experience in a comfortable, medically-supervised environment.

Camp sessions are: ages 14 to 17, Aug. 18 to 22; ages 11 to 13, Aug. 22 to 26; ages 8 to 10, Aug. 26-30.

Individuals age 21 and over who wish to be counselors must be able to work an entire session. Meals, lodging and transportation are provided and no previous counselor experience is required.
