Business seminars go to Russia
      Calvary Community Church is hosting business and leadership seminars in Russia and Latvia in conjunction with an ongoing relationship with a "sister" church in the Russian city of Ryazan. A group of 16 business leaders, church members and pastors traveled to Russia recently for a two and one-half week trip.

CSUN to host Jewish Festival
      The ninth Valley Jewish Festival, "A Tapestry of Jewish Life," will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sun., June 3 on the Sierra Quad of the Cal State University Northridge (CSUN) campus, 18111 Nordhoff St. Admission is free; parking is $10. The festival, sponsored by the Jewish Federation, is an outdoor celebration of Jewish arts and culture.
