Calabasas Players to present comedy

Calabasas Players will present "Fools," a comedic fable by Neil Simon, on three weekends from April 20 to May 5 at the Mirage Theatre (formerly the Calabasas Actors Studio Theater), 25000 W. Mureau Road, Calabasas. Performances are 8 p.m. with 2:30 p.m. Saturday matinees.

Set in a tiny Russian village more than 100 years ago, the plot revolves around a new schoolteacher who (unknown to him) has been hired by the town to break a curse on the inhabitants that has been in existence for 200 years.
