Red Storm still rising

"Red Storm," the Agoura-Westlake girls soccer all-star team, beat Thousand Oaks recently in the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) Area Tournament.

The AYSO event featured 15 teams including Malibu, Simi Valley and Moorpark. Girls 10 years old and under participated.

Agoura-Westlake, which beat T.O. 1-0 in a shootout, qualifies for the AYSO sectional tournament scheduled for March 3.

Red Storm is led by Katherine Bage, Jacqueline Morse, Jennifer Colquhoun, Brook Steinnger and Liz Cornelison. Karl Bage is the head coach.
