Winter sports make for cold feet
      California winters allow residents to enjoy a wide variety of outdoor sports from regular aerobic activities like running and cycling to fast-track fun in the snow. Snowbound sports like downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding and sledding provide an exhilarating cardiovascular workout and a welcome change from the concrete walls of the gym.
