Pageant preparations

TRYING OUT FOR THE PAGEANT–Robert Stahley, right center in leather jacket, positions actors and musicians who will perform in Calabasas’ annual "Juan Bautista de Anza in Calabasas" pageant scheduled for de Anza Park on Sun., April 29. Tryouts were last weekend which also provided an opportunity to check costumes for authenticity. Publicity director Carlos LaCamara, producer Robin Mitchell and Calabasas Mayor Dennis Washburn (right) watch the activities.
