School rallies behind Great Race of Agoura

GREAT RACE PROMOTION––A multigenerational Willow Elementary School picnic to raise awareness of the 16th annual Great Race of Agoura attracts a crowd at the school campus in Agoura Hills. Parents, grandparents and students brought a picnic lunch to enjoy during the noon hour and talk about preparations for the Great Race of Agoura which will be held on Sat., Feb. 24. Participating in the event and enjoying Subway sandwiches were Penny Sylvester, left, her fifth grade son, Peter, Louise, a first grader and their fifth grade friend, Max Lanctot. This will mark the third year that the Sylvester family participates. The race raises cash for public schools.
