Religious Education Congress to meet next month

The Religious Education Congress, an annual event for the general public sponsored by the Office of Religious Education, will be Feb. 16, 17 and 18 at the Anaheim Convention Center, 800 Katella Ave.

The theme this year is "Clothed in Love, Summoned Beyond." Cardinal Roger M. Mahony and Sister Edith Prendergrast along with the staff at the Office of Religious Education will be welcoming more than 20,000 delegates from all over the world as well as 200 distinguished speakers and Catholic theologians. More than 260 workshops will be presented.

Keynote guest speakers are Archbishop Rembert Weakland and Bishop Samuel Ruiz Garcia.
