Dance company will perform

Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company

Performances to Grow On will present the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company of Utah in "Circle Cycle," a dance/theatre piece designed for families, at 7 p.m. on Fri., Nov. 10 in the Scherr Forum Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.

The beauty and mystery of the human world comes to life in the color, shapes and movement of Shirley Ririe and Joan Woodbury’s Circle Cycle.

Dancers use hoops, balls, scarves and more than 200 slides to create an intricate visual tapestry. Themes include moving from childhood to adulthood, home-lessness and responsibility to Earth.
