The Acorn Readers’ Cars The Acorn Readers’ Cars 
Lori Gerrard of Newbury Park sends The Acorn this photo of the families fully restored 1963 Triumph TR3. Lori tells us that this very special car was purchased in 1991. It was held together with wire and was more rust than body! Restoring the car became a labor of love for Lori’s husband Dan, shown here in the drivers seat. The TR3 has been a source of great pleasure for the family having taken the Gerrards’ to fun events, like this Triumph Autocross in Laughlin, Nevada. The Gerrards’ have made many new friends taking the car to their car club and by participating in shows and events.
