Councilwoman endorses Rufener

You undoubtedly will read many articles and letters to the editor concerning the candidates running for the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District board.

Statements will be made about water rate increases, the quality of water, management of the district, etc.

Don’t believe any of it until you speak with boardmember Ken Rufener or read what he has to say on each issue.

You will not find a person who better understands the intricacies of the water district better than Ken Rufener. He looks for ways to save on costs while never compromising the quality of our water.

Ken’s style is to be proactive and to look at all options for all issues. His research is extensive on every matter.

I am able to speak so surely about Ken’s strong, honest work ethic and solid management style based on the years I served with him on the Westlake Village City Council.

You can count on Ken to represent your water interests intelligently, proactively and with great fiscal responsibility.
