Las Virgenes Library offers DVDs and ‘Entertainment 2001’ books

The Friends of the Agoura Hills Library have made an initial purchase of 28 first-run DVD movies for rental at Las Virgenes Library, 29130 W. Roadside Drive, Agoura Hills. Movies titles range from "Gone With the Wind" to "Cider House Rules" and include children’s and family fare. Proceeds will expand the collection.

Disks rent for $2 for the first 48 hours and $1 for each additional day. They can be checked out at the circulation desk by anyone with an L.A. County library card.

Friends are offering for purchase "Entertainment 2001" booklets available at the library’s circulation desk.

These booklets provide discounts on dining, entertainment, travel and more. Both the Tri-Counties booklet and the San Fernando Valley booklet are $20 each.
