Sheriff’s Station Open House is Saturday

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Malibu/Lost Hills Station will host an Open House from 10 a.m.to 3 p.m. this Sat., Oct. 28 at the station, 27050 Agoura Road. Children are welcome to attend dressed in their Halloween costumes and can view murals created by area schools depicting Halloween safety.

Among many displays and demonstrations presented by the sheriff’s department will be a helicopter and squad car (visitors can sit in the driver’s seat), canine and equestrian units, the Team Sheriff drag racing car, the Malibu/Lost Hills Mountain Rescue Team and more. There will also be special appearances by the L.A. County Search Dogs and the L.A. County Fire Department’s helicopter, urban search and rescue vehicle.
