Fiddler to perform

Fiddle sensation Eileen Ivers, the musical star of "Riverdance," will bring her band to the stage of the Fred Kavli Theatre at Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza on Fri., Oct. 13.

From her musical turn in "Riverdance" to her 30-plus medals in the All Ireland Championships and appearances with the Boston Pops Orchestra, Paula Cole and Paddy Moloney, the Bronx-born Irish lass has established herself among the pre-eminent exponents of the Irish fiddle.

Tickets to the 8 p.m. performance of the "Riverdance" star and her band are $17.50, $25 and $35.
