Celebrities to lead breast cancer walk

Cindy Crawford, Tea Leoni and Richard Roundtree will serve as honorary co-chairs and be among the celebrities leading the fifth annual Take-A-Hike or A-Fun-Run scheduled Sat., Oct. 14 at Paramount Ranch, Cornell Way and Kanan Road in rurual Agoura.

The climb for a cure will benefit the Revlon/UCLA and USC/Norris Lee breast cancer centers and the Expedition Inspiration Fund for Breast Cancer Research.

There will be musical entertainment by Soluna, DreamWorks’ newest Latina recording group, and Unkle Monkey during the event which is open to adults and children of all ages and fitness levels.

Since its inception, Take-A-Hike has raised nearly $400,000 for breast cancer research.

Registration for Take-A-Hike is $25 in advance or $30 the day of the event.
