HITTING THE BRICKS–L. A. County employees at the Agoura Animal Shelter inaugurated the first day of the county’s rolling strike by picketing the facility all day Monday. The shelter’s volunteer staff was allowed to care for the animals and maintain the kennels during the one day closure. The strike involves bus and train operators for the county Mass Transit Authority (MTA).
