Temple Etz offers Day of Atonement service

Services at Temple Etz Chaim for Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, will begin with the chanting of Kol Nidrei at 7:30 p.m. on Sun., Oct. 8 and at 9:30 a.m. on Mon., Oct. 9. Yizkor memorial services will be at 4:15 p.m.

Yom Kippur family services will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Paskow Sanctuary, and the temple’s junior congregation will have services each holiday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for children in grades 3-7.

Reservations are required for the services. However, tickets aren’t required for the Yizkor service, but those attending are asked to remain for the entire service which ends at 7:30 p.m. with the sounding of the Shofar and Havdalah.
