New Kiwanis president named

NEW LEADER – Bob Rickards, a Thousand Oaks Kiwanis Club member for 20 years, is installed as the club’s new president on Sept. 23 during ceremonies in Newbury Park. He’s the Thousand Oaks Kiwanis Club’s 46th president and succeeds past president Scott Wolfe. Rickards also serves as a member of Hospice of the Conejo’s Board of Directors and on the Board of Trustees for the Conejo Valley Historical Society. Rickards is an accomplished western artist and is employed by the city of Thousand Oaks as a senior planner and architect.
