Charity golf tourney will help seniors, children, homeless

The 2000 Charity Golf Tournament sponsored by the San Fernando Valley Interfaith Council and the Daily News will be hosted Mon., Sept. 25 at Porter Valley Country Club in Northridge.

Proceeds will benefit the Council’s programs serving seniors, at-risk children, plus the hungry and homeless.

Player packages include green fees, cart, tee package, continental breakfast, lunch on the course, an awards dinner and entertainment.

There will also be a silent auction and opportunity drawings.

Participation is limited to the first 144 golfers.
