Volleyball camp gets Westlake coach

Jon Roberts, the Westlake High School boys’ volleyball coach, will join the coaching staff at the school’s first ever summer volleyball camp.

The camp is for girls ages 12 to 18 and runs July 5 through July 8 at the high school.

Roberts, a two-time All-America at the University of California in Santa Barbara in the early ’70s, played for the U.S. National Team for four years and professionally in America and Europe for 10 years.

Roberts has coached the sport for more than a decade.

Joining the coaching staff is former Westlake star player Brooke Rundle, who led the Warriors to a CIF Division II championship in 1997.
