Chamber golf tourney seeks golfers, sponsors

The Calabasas Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic 2000 will tee-off 11 a.m. with a shotgun start on Mon., Aug. 28 at the Calabasas Country Club, 4515 Park Entrada. The event is a benefit for the Free Arts for Abused Children and the Calabasas Community Fund.

The cost of $195 per person includes golf, lunch and dinner; it’s $900 for a corporate foursome that includes a tee sign; or $35 per person for dinner only.

Sponsorships are available, with packages that allow companies of all sizes to participate in the golf tournament including signage and hole sponsorship opportunities. The tournament features a day of contests with chances to win prizes on the challenging links of the country club course.

Activities get underway 9:30 a.m. with driving range practice and putting contests and conclude with a banquet and awards presentation.
