Chamber golf tourney seeks golfers, sponsors
      The Calabasas Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic 2000 will tee-off 11 a.m. with a shotgun start on Mon., Aug. 28 at the Calabasas Country Club, 4515 Park Entrada. The event is a benefit for the Free Arts for Abused Children and the Calabasas Community Fund.

‘Babes in Blue’ win soccer all-star tournament
     PYRAMID OF SUCCESS - Agoura-Westlake's AYSO under-12 soccer all-star team won the recent Strawberry Cup Tournament in Camarillo. The "Babes in Blue" swept four opponents by a combined score of 11-1. The girls finished 17-4-2 for the all-star season.
