City library

to launch its summer reading program

The Calabasas Library’s summer reading program will offer young readers (age 4 and up) a series of special events to entertain them this summer. All programs are free and at 4 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 26135 Mureau Road, second floor.

The schedule of events is as follows:

July 12: Magician Bob Stone leads children on a "Magic Safari."

July 26: Wonderworld Puppets present "Animal Tales" puppet show and puppet making demonstration.

Aug. 2: Juggler David Cousins will perform.

Aug. 9: A "Channel Islands Parks as Classrooms" program explores the lives of whales, seals and sea lions.
