Archaeology summer camp planned for Skirball Cultural Center

Skirball Cultural Center will present "Adventures in Archaeology" Summer Camp in which participants will learn how archaeologists uncovered the mysteries of ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia and the Levant.

They’ll also get hands-on experience with real artifacts and practice the techniques used to make them.

Two sessions are offered:

For ages 5-9, Session I is July 11-13, Session II is Aug. 15-17, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The cost of each session is $75; $60 for Skirball members.

For ages 9-13, Session I is July 17-21, Session II is Aug. 21-25, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The cost of each session is $150/$120.
