Crime Watch Agoura

A car window was shattered ($250 damage) and a purse valued at $30 was stolen along with $15 cash. The vehicle burglary occurred on a Mulholland Highway turnout (one mile north of the 35300 block) between 11:30 p.m. June 24 and 1 p.m. June 25. A male later returned the purse to its rightful owner, but the cash remained missing.

 

Lake Sherwood

On March 1 at the 600 block of West Stafford Road in Lake Sherwood, unknown suspect(s) stole a Carrera Y Carrera 18 carat gold ring with "7913" engraved on the inside, a platinum 18-inch chain (3.53 grams), a 14 carat gold solitaire one carat diamond pendant and an 18 carat gold ring with .75 diamonds baguettes. The total loss was estimated at $13,895 and the incident was only recently reported.

Westlake/T.O.

On June 24 at 1 p.m. at the Rite Aid drugstore in the 3800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, unknown suspect(s) stole a purse from an unlocked vehicle and attempted to flee. The victim retrieved her purse that had no money or credit cards inside.

At 7:25 p.m. June 24 at Village Glen at Agoura Road, officers were called and responded to a suicical subject and found a white male, 52, to be extremely intoxicated and unable to care for himself. The suspect was arrested for public intoxication and taken to the main jail in Ventura where bail was set at $1,000.
