Agoura Hills Harmony Chorus back at home

After a six-year hiatus, the Agoura Hills Harmony Chorus (AHH) is heading home to its birthplace, Agoura Hills.

The chorus has been rehearsing in churches, schools (and once in a nightclub) in Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park, but the 77-member Sweet Adeline Chorus always wanted to return to its roots in Agoura Hills, where the chorus was chartered in 1991.

The songbirds will now have plenty of storage space (for the portable risers they stand on) and an ideal rehearsal situation at Sumac Elementary School in Agoura Hills. They’re very happy to have found the permanent location they’ve long been seeking.

The chorus invites all ladies who like to sing — especially those in the Agoura Hills area — to join them at their weekly 7:15 p.m. Tuesday rehearsals now held at Sumac, 6050 Calmfield, Agoura Hills.
