TROOP NO. 745-Twenty-miles-deep into the 30-mile hike on the backside of Half-Dome in Yosemite, was just a piece of cake for these tough guys of Troop No. 745 from Westlake Village. Left to right are: Nitsy Robman, William Herndon, Brandon Keefe, Adam Gruver, Shawn Christian and Daniel Gruver. BIRTHDAY VISIT-Bernie and Terrie Schiffer of Oak Park travels to Rockaway Beach, New York, a special birthday mission. Leo Shiffer, center, celebrated his 104 years in October and insisted on holding The Acorn for the photo contest entry.
