Angel sustained the injury during a kickboxing class. As he was traveling to work at Amgen, he decided the pain was too intense to ignore, so he stopped at the new ER. The facility is the first of a multi-phase $6.5 million expansion. It's now about 12,000 square feet with 23 beds, tripling in size, and includes three state-of-the-art trauma rooms.
